Geak II Watch Stretches The Limits Of Smartwatch Battery Life
Aside from the �C usually valid �C complaints that many smart watches look simply like a miniature slab with a watch strap attached, there is another major drawback that the current crop of smart watches has had�� and that is battery life �C or the lack thereof. The one exception to this has been Pebble, with the power-sipping e-ink display that it utilizes. While it does save battery life, it hardly has the flashy looks that we are expecting now from the Apple Watch and Android Wear. Created by Shanda, the Geak has been pretty popular within its home country of China. With the Geak II, they are looking to stretch out into the international market, with an APAC-specific Kickstarter-type campaign over on Pozible.So, why does this particular watch matter? Angular Momentum La Boulle Classic Damascus Watch
Here is another artful creation from Angular Momentum that has caught my eye. Using beautiful Damascus steel, the La Boulle Classic Damascus watch combines the unique type of metal work with Angular Momentum's common disc display dial and case. The dial is purely minimalistic. A black sapphire crystal has a window opening to a white color disc. There is a line applied to the window so that you can read the time. The disc moves once around the dial each 12 hours. It may not be the most precise way of reading the time, but it does give way to a world of possibilities when it comes to what to do with the rest of the dial. Sometimes, Angular Momentum dresses the dial up with verre ??glomis painting on the back of the sapphire crystal. Sometimes, you simply have a watch design where the case and dial together make for an artistic statement. I know I know, not exactly the headliner Just looked on Rolex site and can't seem to configure a white gold sky dweller. They seem to be removed completely from the site.

Hi,A close friend is debating if he should buy the classic sub with date or the SD43. It will be his first and most likely only Rolex. Which one would you chose and why?I think the SD43 as it's an anniversary model as he mentioned that this will be his only one... well I told him that I said the same when I bought my first Sub 10 years ago lol.Cheers,Alex
