AP ROOS v RO Chronograph
Anyone enlighten me on the technical difference between a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chrono and the AP Royal Oak Chrono.The latter was first produced in 73 and the former is 93. Other than being waterproof upto 100 metres. What else is there?What is the more collectable?Thanks.AJF.

Speedmaster Purchase.
Back in 03-04 i was battling Cancer and my Uncle came acrross the country to stay with me and to give me support in my Battle. When he left to go home i noticed he had no watch so i quickly went over to my watch box and pulled out a Speed master professional moon watch and gave it to him.It was the first real good watch if you know what i mean i purchased when my business started to take off in 1994 it cost a few grand at that time I have many watches Rolex IWC, Omega, and so on but i never had the feeling to buy another speedmaster until now. Last week i was able to purchase a very nice Speedmaster Reduced automatic for $950 (good price i think ) and now i have the Speedy bug again. So my question is.... if you had say like $5,000 to spend what speedmaster would you buy, i love vintage and not opposed to new but i like to be different and odd variations that gain Value over the years is always a plus to me. Daytona 116500 prices finally coming down
Looking through the for sale section using the search button for the DaytonaC it seems that they are moving slower and taking longer to sell, also some 116500 being re-listed for lower prices by the same sellerI hope this trends continues and that more buyers will refuse to contribute to the inflated prices by buying new 116500 from the grey dealers. I'm one of many on a wait list at AD because I have no interest in buying this beautiful watch online, part of the experience for me is going to the AD and unfortunately the grey dealers and those willing to pay the premium are making the wait longer for a lot of people.Trend is your friend they say so hopefully this is just the start

Hey Everyone, I own the mentioned watch and can understand why people like it and am looking for anyone to share their story or perspective on why this watch seemingly all of sudden became the watch to have over the last 6 months. It seems that every time I view an incoming thread, the green sub is the watch.I know the Rolex sports model market are n unique times right now, but this particular watch seems to be mentioned often.
