Formex is one of those brands I love to notice, but doesn't seem to get the public attention it deserves. Which is a shame given how nice some of their watches are. The mantra of Formex seems to be a melding of watch and race car technology. Flipping my BLNR
I know most of you guys will think I'm nuts. Many probably do already. But I just don't love my Rolex watches anymore. I've come back to the brand a few times. And I like a few of the new releases, but for now I'm cutting back to one. Nothing has ever really been safe in my collection, but the BLNR was supposed to be a keeper for a few reasons. Yet, I dont, and won't wear it. I've tried. I just always take it right off. The little lady agreed and flipping for a brandy new Omega that is on its way. The pics of the new 300 blew me away. I didn't love it in person. But each time I saw it in the steel, I liked it more and more. It grew on me quite a bit. And then the blue titanium was tried on. Love the comfort and styling. Pics to come when it arrives. Motto if this story, no watch is safe in my collection.

Have you ever gone in for a Rolex and came out with An Omega ?
I did just that the other day. I went in an AD to look at and possibly buy a Rolex Yachtmaster and instead brought an Omega Planet Ocean Titanium on the Rubber Strap. Just trying on this lovely watch was enough to make me change my mind. Omega has truely excelled themselves with this beautiful watch. Every minute detail is perfect and has the best dial and Bezel I have seen on any Omega.

Percentage of SS allotment over overall watch allotment to AD
Spent some time talking to the AD today and he mentioned 1. Only 25% of any given allotment is SS models. 2. Only 1% of any allotment is Ceramic daytonas. He mentioned he has only received 3 dayotonas so far. The 25% rule seems believable, but the 1% rule I am having trouble digesting. thoughts?
