Specimen In The NauticFish Watch Evolution Is Appealing Acquisition
The German dive watch company NauticFish is an offshoot of the larger Schaumburg/Lindburgh & Benson watch group. A few years ago, the brand was set up as vehicle for more aggressive German watches that complimented, but did not necessarily compete with the popular Schaumburg line of diving watches. The first NauticFish watches were actually little more than rebranded Scahumburg watches with minor changes. Currently, NauticFish watches have their own special character, but that did not occur over night. Over the last few years, little design changes resulted in the current product, of which many are nice hybrid designs between the appealing look of Schaumburg dive watches and the NauticFish style. The first changes appeared on the face with the hand and number indicators, then the bezel treatment, and other items changed as well. This particular watch represents a halfway point from what NauticFish used to be, and what it is today. Notice the same bezel as on Schaumburg watches, but w
My New AP Chrono!
Just received this Royal Oak Chrono, the Alinghi City of Sails from Tony G at JustRolexes. It was produced in 2003, one of 1250 made. It's 39mm, so a bit smaller than most of what AP is producing these days, and I like that it has kind of an offshore vibe but scaled down. Also, as you can tell from the position of the date, it has the 2385 movement, so is a relatively thin 11.5mm.I'm excited to have an AP in the rotation again -- I had a 15300 a while ago, but traded it in for my Nautilus. The AP fills a sporty but elegant role for me, more sporty than the Patek, but not as sporty as a Rolex.
AP 15400 winding issue
Can anyone tell me if you wind your 15400 clockwise or counter clockwise? I noticed that when I wind mine clockwise it doesn't wind correctly. Also, when setting the time, I have to wind it counter clockwise for the time to move clockwise. Anyone else's 15400 do the same?
speed pro or speed 9300
I have been trying to decide which one of these to purchase.I know that the pro is the icon but it seems the 9300 movement has a lot of good review. I have concerns however about the 44mm size and 16mm thickness of the 9300.In addition, the extra cost is a factor as well.Anyone opinions on both will be appreciated.
Patek watches
Has anyone have a price list for PP watches in 2005 please
