Hands-On: The Histoire De Tourbillon 6 By Harry Winston
Like its predecessors, the Histoire de Tourbillon 6 is obviously a legacy watch. Grandiose pieces likely don't see the most wrist time. That, however, doesn’t make them any less grandiose. This watch is essentially composed of two independent sections. They are geometrically recognizable as circles versus square. Like every other installment in the Histoire de Tourbillon series, each section of the Histoire de Tourbillon 6 explores and evolves the concept of the tourbillon. 1 OF 7 The orbs to the left of the case are part of a tri-axial tourbillon, which means three different spins in one. The balance wheel cage spins every 45 seconds inside a second cage, which spins every 75 seconds on its own vertical axis. This pair is housed inside a third, spherical cage that revolves every 300 seconds. Who here remembers prime factorization? [45 = 32 × 51] [75 = 31 × 52] [300 = 22 × 31 × 52], which gives us 22 × 32 × 52 = 900 seconds (o
Incoming: Royal Oak vs Daytona
Hi guysSome of you will remember that I put a collection strategy together a couple of years ago, and it's nearly complete. Today, another piece of the jigsaw arrived in the shape of the Royal Oak 15450.When choosing which Royal Oak to get, I spent a vast amount of time looking at size comparisons, and I'm glad to report I made the right choice! My wrists are 6.5 so not very big, so I was torn between 37mm and 39mm but the 37mm is perfect for me.As I really like the way the Daytona wears, I spent a lot of time looking for comparisons on the wrist between the Daytona and the 15450. So, I thought others may be in the same boat and it would be useful to share a couple of photos. The bottom line is that they both wear differently, but both work for me brilliantly, and people should forget the stigma attached to the 37mm!

Finally purchased a Submariner 116610LN at a great price
I've been looking for a Submariner 116610LN for about a month already but all the local AD's are out of stock. Almost bought one from a seller here at TRF but hesitated because of the price being close to retail. I've been looking everywhere for a good deal, then suddenly I saw a posting on Craigslist listed for $6500, it was bought in 2017, with box, no warranty card just a photocopy of a receipt and the card from AD priced at $8750. I texted the seller and asked what his best price was, $5700 he said. I quickly left work that morning and went straight to the bank. On my way to the seller he texted me and said he just got another offer for asking price of $6500. I told him that I have cash in hand, will not resell the watch and almost there. He said he way going to honor his deal with me. So, I met the guy at his office, inspected the watch and bought it with out the warranty card. The seller said he'll contact the AD and see if they can track the original warranty card and possibly
Socialism, Third World, Danger, and Rolex 116610 LN
Hello friends. In advance I apologize for my poor English.I joined this forum in 2013 but I have never posted, although many days, many, I read them carefully and it is great for me to see their comments and photos. My love for Rolex was born at age 13, my father had a DateJust 1601, TT, Jubilee strap, BEAUTIFUL champagne dial; I saw him and really drove him crazy asking him to give me his watch, he did not take me seriously, I was a child, He tried to buy me with other watches, he even try with a tudor prince date, and I made him return it, I wanted his watch. I never asked for anything or was a spoiled child so I had to touch some fiber in which he felt it really was something I wanted with sincerity, so being in the living room of my father's house he came and said indifferently TAKE IT, I just service it to give it to you, and I handed the green bag of Rolex, inside was his Rolex 1601, now mine, I shouted and jumped for joy, I never adjusted the strap, I used it to the extent tha
