WATCH GIVEAWAY: Minus-8 Layer Automatic
This month on watches-dealer, you can enter for a chance to win a timepiece by the new San Francisco, California-based watch company Minus-8 (referring, of course, to GMT-8 as the time zone of San Francisco). The watch is called the Layer, and it combines a hip modern design with a Japanese automatic mechanical movement. Further, the Minus-8 Layer watch has an NFC-enabled silicon strap which includes a "near field communication" chip that allows the watch to interact with smartphones and other devices. There are a range of things that NFC in a watch can be used for. How the 5167 dial is made ..?
Anyone have any info on the making of the 5167 dial? How Patek finishes it to be able to look so dynamic under so many different lightning conditions? I heard that it takes Patek quite some time to make the 5167 dial ... I can't seem to find anything online supporting this though ... Would love any insight if you have it!Thanks!
The Wrist Presence is Awesome!
Having just been wearing my PAM for 3 days the wrist presence of this watch is truly spectacular. This is the largest watch I have ever worn at 44MM it just lays perfect on my wrist which is 7.5 inches. I can't imagine moving up to the 47MM that must be quite large! I don't really hang around with watch people so no one has ever heard of Panerai of course everyone knows the Rolex name but I have had quite a few compliments on this watch where no one gives my Daytona a second glance
New 2018 dial printing "SWISS ♛ MADE"
This coronet logo now appears at the bottom of the dial at the 6 O'Clock position between the usual SWISS MADE.Anyone know what it signifies apart from the fact that the watch is virtually unobtainable what is the official answer and is it significant to you?
