Limited Edition Of 30 Watch Straps For watches-dealer By Teenage Grandpa
watches-dealer has teamed up with Teenage Grandpa to offer 30 limited edition hand-made, custom-sized straps exclusively for watches-dealer audience members. This includes three strap versions, with ten pieces per strap. Each buyer has the ability to choose the strap width (to fit the watch of their choice), as well as a few buckle options. These strap colors and designs will never again be offered to Teenage Grandpa customers after this limited edition sale. One of the big reasons we like watches is because we like things that are decorated, assembled, and overall done by hand. Hand-made things are rare these days and have somehow become a luxury given the relative deficit of skilled artisans in our society that can actually make 'stuff.' That is unless you want a hand-crafted spreadsheet. watches-dealer recently had the opportunity to showcase Teenage Grandpa's hand-made straps and interview the man behind theleather, Mr. Matt Smith-Johnson of Toronto, Canada. The Value Proposition: Eterna's Majetek Pilot's Watch For The Czech Air Force
Watches are inextricably linked with the armed forces. Without trivializing the enormous impact of war on human existence, it’s fascinating to note the range of models produced by legendary watchmakers for use by soldiers around the world, like iconic MilSub’s or Mark XI’s. Compared to these relatively well known military-issue watches, there is one model that stands out for its simplicity and unexpected good looks: the Majetek pilot’s watch issued to members of the Czech Air Force in the late 1930's and early '40’s. Together, the cushion-shaped case, black dial, and simple Arabic hour numerals form a sharp package that looks just as relevant today as it was back then. And the Majetek also stands out for its affordability relative to other military watches of that time currently available on the vintage market. 2 OF 8 This military-spec example features engraved numbers on the solid case back. Some models also feature double-sword insig

Omega SM300 - Possible trade - Please help
Hello all, I would like to get your opinion on this Omega. I am curious if anything looks out of place, based on some searches I have done the numbers on the bezel seem incorrect. I have come across several different dials, but the dial seems to be correct although it does not say 'swiss' on it. I have searched on ebay to give me a price guideline, I found these are nearing 1,400usd and up, however that is for refinished watches and NOS, everything I found is in better condition than I believe this one to be. If at all possible, based solely on these pictures(assuming watch is in good working order), could you ballpark a figure for this?Any tips/advice are greatly appreciated, A big advanced thank you!OmSM300Date11711007.jpgOmSM300Date11711005.jpg
