Just because
Took out the camera and shot a few random snaps of the jumbo and the charcoal blue dial will appear almost black with lighting here. I am so grateful to have her while the 15300ST is being serviced at the AP boutique. Perfect size, perfect dark blue and perfect symmetry.. she is simply brilliant.Great AP weekend to all here!
5711A. Rolex and AP Trades. Any regrets?
Hi guys,Never owned a Patek. I've been eyeing a 5711 for some time but cannot hold myself to pull the trigger. It's a lot of money for a SS sports watch. So, I too baby steps and got myself an AP 15300 hopping the itch will go away. I put myself on the list for a 5711 anyhow, just in case.It seems that the 15300, while beautiful did not fully do the trick. I went to visit the AD last week again and tried on a 5712. It fits like a glove. I cannot get it out of my system. Although I am known for being trigger happy and selling 1 week later. Here is the deal. I need to sell my Hulk and the 15300 to make it happen. I know that I will lose money in case I need to flip back, sell the 5711, and buy back the Rolex and the AP.I know this is a personal decision but I want to hear your opinion on the following. Would you trade Hulk + 15300 + about 5k for the 5711? Any regrets once you got it? Cheers.
What do you think guys
I do not understand why Rolex did not launch the Root Beer in SS. I do not understand why it throws models in 31 and 36 mm. The official dealers already have hundreds of them and I do not think they sell them very easily. The Daytona full of brilliants must have its public and aside the margins of gain must be sidereal.Apart in the GMT Master they forgot to make them in yellow gold? Well, if you continue to insist with pink gold everything that has yellow gold will be depreciated terribly. What do you think guys?
I feel that the SD4000c will eventually
become one of the most sought after Rolex’s ever! It’s such a special watch! Prices are climbing and eventually they’ll become harder to find.Attachment 1Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Unexpected but very welcome SD43....
I hadn't expected the call for some time but guess I struck lucky and I picked this up today, the 43mm/50th anniversary Sea Dweller, 126600....43mm gives far greater legibility of dial and the tapered lugs/wider bracelet resolve all the blockiness' of the Sub' and GMT.Sits a tad thicker/higher on the wrist than I would like (due to the thicker caseback) but the red lettering really is a nice touch.Time will tell' if it's a keeper or not but for now at least here it is....
