Hi all,Thought I'd share my thoughts on my 14060 after being a PO owner for a number of years.Now I realise this particular subject has been done to death but I'll keep things short and also keep things focussed on as many objective factors as I can. Hopefully this can help with anyone looking to buy either the PO or the 14060.The two watches in question are an X serial 14060 and a black on black 42mm Planet Ocean.First and foremost, both are lovely watches and very, very different. I know there's been a lot said about Omegas being derivatives of Rolex and indistinguishable when viewed by a layperson, but they both have a significantly different look and feel on the wrist.For me, aside from the brand difference, movement etc. the following are the major differences:The DesignThe Planet Ocean is clearly the more contemporary and uncommon design. Hello fellow collectors, Im trying to get myself a new watch for my birthday soon and recently came across 2 watches which drive me crazy. 1. PATEK Gondolo 5124g, which I love the shape and versatality. Especially the curve shape makes it extra special comparing to most of other similar shaped. This watch is simple, well to go with any occasion in my eyes. 2. Patek Annual Calender 5205g, I love the lugs' detailing, absolute art piece. This is one absolute stunning watch with great combination yet so clean and simple. I will say this watch goes so well wth suit or semi formal attire. The question is, I see less love for the gondolo 5124g in forums or instagram. Is is the reason of the blood-line issue or because of the simple mechanism and people tend to lean toward complication mechanism? I love both watches, so deeply wish i can get both but ofcoz i cant. Cellini line is slow seller i think, even after pretty nice new references after Basel -17. I wonder why Rolex does not add more complications to Cellini lineup?If there would be annual calendar, or regulator style with worldtimer... that would turn at least my eyes away from Patek
