Watches NEWS
Apollo 11 Anniversary July 20th 1969
Hey Guys:Sunday is the anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing on the moon; it is also the biggest day in the history of Omega because of all the watches that followed! The black Speedmaster Professional 321 or 861 is pretty awesome, but the 35th Anniversary Apollo 11 with the white dial is a definite keeper. Thanks Neil and Buzz; you made this hobby one of the best !!
The White Moonwatch is finally complete.
Took me a while to get the pieces to this beautiful project. 3573 with a (off) white dial / black hand mod. All on a black croc strap and a satin deployant. Call it a franken-Speedy--but I've been craving this look and it's finally complete. Couldn't be more pleased. Enjoy. Omega 8500
Guys, I just had to post this beauty - apologies if they have already been posted. Omega's CEO says it will eventually replace the Cal. 2500 (but I guess that's some way out).Enjoy.
Awesome 5016
For anyone who missed my last post on the Patek exhibition I visited on Sunday here is a short video I captured of the 5016 doing its thing
New watch dead on arrival
So I just took delivery of a pre owned GMT Master II from a listing on TRF and for the life of me I can not get it to run. I have wound it 40 clicks, worn it while walking for nearly an hour, nothing has gotten it started. I'm not sure how to proceed from here. I don't want to pay another few hundred for a service - the cost difference would be minimal between that and a new GMT. Is there something else that may be causing it to not run? Thanks.
