Vorque Constantine Review
In the last few years, we've seen a lot of sub $1,000 watches. Within those watches, we've seen a handful of movements, various level of finishing quality, original designs, off-the-shelf designs, homages, etc As time has gone on, what we look for in a watch has shifted away from straight "value", by which I mean watches that seemingly offer the most expensive components in the cheapest package, to watches that offer quality of concept, design and execution, supported by quality components. So, the latter might cost more for a watch with the same movement and a sapphire, but if it's offering more in terms of design and finishing; and in our eyes, it's worth it.So When I first saw photos of the Vorque Constantine, who are a new brand out of Singapore, saw the beautiful waffle-textured dial, and read that it was powered by an ETA 2824-2 actually a gilted 2824, I anticipated a certain price. ETAs are expensive these days, a uniquely textured dial that is well executed isn't going to be
Shall I make the trade for my first AP ... 15305
I have been looking at AP's for quite some time, as I do not own one yet. I was initially looking at an AP ROC in rose gold then the day-date in RG. But then, the 15305 open worked skeleton stole all of my attention. I know skeletons are not for everyone, but the artistry behind this watch is simply amazing! I would probably trade my VC Overseas, VC Patrimony, and a third or fourth watch plus cash to make this happen and enter the AP world. Thoughts? For And probablySent from my 16M

Favorite Strap/bracelet option for Speedy
So I find my Speedmaster doesn't get enough wrist time, losing out to my other watches. Was wondering what you speedy owners wear yours on. A NATO, band, bracelet? I was never a huge fan of the Speedmaster bracelet so I wear on various bands. What about you all??Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Has Patek ever scratched your watch?
I bought my 5167a new from an AD in June who also fitted the strap. After a week I found the strap a bit tight (fitted in an air conditioned office). So I got my local AD (as they were closer) to order a new strap and fit it for me (costing 180). Unfortunately they managed to scratch the lug. They also noticed the AD who fitted the first strap had scratched the clasp. So they sent it to the Patek service centre in the UK who polished out the scratches and returned it to me 5 weeks later. However they had switched over the straps so the clasp was not centred (they put the longer strap at 6 o'clock). I sent it back to them to switch it back and they returned it today. To me amazement there is a new scratch at the 11 o'clock lug! I am not sending it back again, it is a new watch that I have only had in my possession for a week and I am not sure all this polishing is a good idea. I am very careful with my watches, but appreciate that marks are inevitable, however when they are caused by s
