Autodromo Prototipo Review
Autodromo is one of the brands that has really surprised us in the last couple of years. When we first saw their watches, we were thrilled by their unique designs, nothing being stock, and attention to detail. As the brand has matured, so have their designs and knowledge of watch making, which was very clear in their second offering, the limited edition Monoposto mechanical. One of our favorite pieces from last year, this utterly unique watch has character and finishing that far surpassed its sub-$1000 price point.Their newest line continues this trend of development with what will likely be their most popular watch to date, the Prototipo. Where the previous Autodromo watches were inspired by the history of Italian race cars, with elements translated into the watch components, the Prototipo is inspired by late 60's and 70's racing chronographs. Speedmaster Availability in London and Paris
Hi all, I am travelling to London and Paris next week on holiday and am in the market for a Speedmaster. I know there are lot of variants however I am looking for the traditional Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch. From my reading on this forum it sounds like Rolex sport watches are in a bit of a shortage in these cities but wasn't sure about Omega. Can you please advise if you are from either area or have been recently how strong my chances are of finding one in either city? Also does anyone know the MSRP in London or Paris for this model? Thanks.
price increases
how often does omega increase prices? and idea of how much when they do?thanks
2016 Explorer Wind Question
Hi all,Is it normal that when my 2016 Explorer is completely dead and I go to wind it, it takes about 40 winds before the second hand starts moving? I now have a second watch, so I find myself winding the Explorer more these days (so maybe that's why I'm noticing it). But when I first start winding, there doesn't seem to be much resistance. After 40 winds, the second hand will start to move and there feels like there's a bit more resistance when winding. The watch is running fine and keeping time, no issues, everything seems normal. Just wondering if it's strange that it doesn't seem to kick into gear quicker? Thanks,J
