Ready to Pull Trigger for ROO Chrono Safari (New Model), But Wife Suggests Rolex
Guys,Been a long time Rolex owners...and here, in Indonesia, Rolex means good investment....Recently I ve decided to raise the bar and fell in love with ROO Chrono Safari (new model) and ready to pull trigger....Suddenly my wife suggests to buy another Rolex instead...she says it will be a safer bet just in case we need to sell the watch....So what do you think guys???Regards,

completely new to the AP world. but, i was browsing a store by me last night and this watch really caught my eye. the sales guy told me that because it had a screw down crown it was probably rated at 100m for water resistance. i did some research and it is only 50m. every time i check i hear that 50m is not OK for serious swimming. and while i am not a pro swimmer by any means, i like to wear a watch that i can do anything in. and you never know when i will jump into any body of water. i suppose what i am asking all of you guys is is this an everyday watch? can it take the beating that a Rolex can. it surely feels like it can, but i want to do my due diligence before making a mistake. what say you guys?

A few months ago I hit the jackpot at my AD. I got the call for both a 5711 white dial and a white Daytona-C within a month. I of course took them both. Surprisingly I wasn't able to bond with the 5711 like I did the Daytona and I quickly let it go. A week or so later I'm at the same AD and they had a 5712 in the store. It was already spoken for but they let me try it on. Wow is all I can say. It was stunning. Although I'm sure it will be quite some time before they get another one in stock my AD was kind enough to put me down for the next one. Time to Buy..Either a Sub No or Explorer I & a Tubor BB
Hi all ..getting ready to pull the trigger on my first big watch purchase. Like many of you I gone back and forth and back and forth and.....on what watch to buy.My choices have narrowed down to two...Either the 1. Sub No Date 2. Explorer I and a Tudor BB with the Black BezelJust spoke with my local AD and they have both the SUB No date and Explorer I in stock.I work in an office all day so would an Explorer I be a better daily office watch and then have the Tudor BB as my weekend/vacation/travel watch. Or should I just go with the Iconic Submariner. For the price of the Sub I can pretty much get the Explorer I and the Tudor BB for a few extra dollars.Thank you all in advance for your feedback.
