Best Patek model under $50,000
Title says it all. Which PP is the best bang for your buck under or very close to the $50,000 price point that will retain its value long term. Not interested in nautilus or aquanaut models. Thanks for your input.
Seeing before buying
Hi everyone,I've been trying to compare a 5167 or a 5711. I know the blue 5711 is ridiculously hard to come by and the white 5711 is also quite scarce in stores (but a shorter wait list). The discussion comes up quite frequently about comparing the two and everyone's preferences, but one thing I have been struggling with recently is actually trying to see these in person and finding which looks best on me.I've seen tons of pictures (thanks to everyone on this amazing forum!) and would definitely love to purchase my first Patek, but I have a hard time deciding on one of these watches before actually getting to see and compare them in person and trying them on. I went to my local Patek dealer this weekend and called an out-of-state one I visited a couple of months ago. Neither unfortunately had any of the three in stock. While traveling, I've tried to visit local dealers who always tell me the 5711 is a wait list item that I'll never get to see in stores.Any advice on getting to see a &g

Happy CNY! My first brand new Rolex
So happy to finally get my first new Rolex. I inherited a 1984 16030 Buckley' dial Datejust and bought a 1983 6694 Oysterdate, and then thought long about getting a vintage 5513 Sub, but after trying the new Sub-C at a local AD, made the jump with no regrets!Ps: wanted to post a pic but apparently I need to make 10 posts firsts.(Bought it on 12-Feb to wear on the first day of Chinese New Year 16-Feb!)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
