Thoughts on Patek 5124G
Hello all,I am considering purchasing a 5124G preowned. I have not seen the watch in person nor tried it on. I have watched a youtube video and it looks really nice. I love the deep blue dial. I have owned a JLC reverso before so the shape is fine for me. It looks like the watch really sits on the wrist nicely. I currently own a PP 5110J world time and the 5146R annual calendar. What do you guys think about adding the 5124 to my collection? I don't have a white gold piece or a blue dial piece so I think it would add some nice variety to my collection.Does anyone have any experience with this piece? Do you think the white gold and blue face is a fad or will it be able to stand the test of time?Thanks very much. You have a great forum here. The collective knowledge on this forum staggering. Incoming 5980 1/A but...
Hey guys, here is the thing.. I've been eyeing the 5980ss in a long while, I am very excited finally being able to nail this piece in Asia and i have prepaid the watch and planning on flying out to pick it up myself. In the meantime, i have to unload a piece in order to make the wife feel better lol..Anyway i have been thinking of parting with my 5 month old rolex 116718 GMT, however i do have a soft spot for this watch, don't know if i should put it for sale or just keep it. input will be appreciatedHere are couple snaps of my friend trying on the 5980ss for me since we have similar wrist size.. followed by some pics of the YG gmt.

Trade dilemma
Hey. So I have a hulk and black ceramic Daytona. My brother decided to one up my Daytona and after trying his I really liked the weight of precious metal. So considering trading my sub and Daytona for a white gold blue dial 116509 (see below). Part of me wants to do it and part of thinks it's really dumb. Talk me in or out of it.
