Zenith Pilot Type 20 Grand Feu Watch: Engraved White Gold + Sapphire Crystal Case
For 2014,?Zenith will release a most unusual timepiece under their "new" pilot watch range known as the Pilot Type 20 Grand Feu. In a nutshell, this is a highly ornate version of the Zenith Pilot Montre d'Aronef Type 20 watch that was released in 2012. Using a historic Zenith movement known as the caliber 5011, Zenith produced a massive pilot-style watch with a cool movement, and as experimental as it wasC the watch proved to be a big hit.Over the last two years, Zenith has been pouring a lot of effort into their Pilot Type 20 watches and that continues into 2014. Easily the most unique model is this Pilot Type 20 Grand Feu. Often times, line extension models are more or less predictable. That means when we see a new or updated model, the changes or additions make sense, or were something we saw coming. Welcoming my first AP!
Hello all you enablers, I was finally able to get my hands on a royal oak 15400 black dial and words can't describe how ecstatic I am. I can't wait to wear this watch everywhere. I'll upload some more pics tomorrow
And now the Aerospace...
...is on my wrist. I've had an interest in this watch for years, due to its combination of digital and analog technology. In high school, my dad gave me a Seiko Sports 100, which had an analog face with a dive watch look, but also had a digital readout. Very handy and served me well for years, until my dad gave me his Omega Speedmaster Professional and my love for classic mechanical watches with an adventurous feel was born. I'd debated the Aerospace's utility, in a world of iPhones. Nonetheless, I decided I wanted one good quartz watch with various functions. The Aerospace is that watch, for me. I bought it yesterday. A little crazy, since I scored the 38mm Transocean the previous day, but I know my fellow watch enthusiasts will understand! Here's a quick photo...ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372281023.523449.jpg
Case number for midsize Seamaster?
Do anyone know the case number for the midsize Seamaster? I'm looking for some spares from Otto Frei but I don't have the tools necessary to open the caseback on my watch
St Bart's -- nothing on but my Rolex
My wife and I are heading to St Bart's next week for a couple of weeks. We're fairly new Rolex owners. Some people we've talked to are squeamish about swimming in the ocean with their Rolex because of the salt water. I don't have any concerns; my wife prefers not to wear it swimming, even in a pool. Thoughts?
