Vulcain Cricket Annivesary Heart Automatic Calendar Watch
While it is rather pricey this new version of Vulcain's Cricket Anniversary Heart Automatic calendar watch is a lovey timepiece. Over the last few years their Anniversary Heart models have been stealing my attention. I like the design that is classic but still bold, as well as the emphasis on mechanics. I still feel that Vulcain makes the best mechanical alarm watches around.One interesting benefit to a mechanical alarm such as this over an electronic one is the sound. While there are some notable exceptions, most electronic alarm watches have an anemic "beep, beep" to them. Vulcain's Cricket movements make loud buzzing noises and vibrate a bit. I really want to see electronic alarm watches do that as you'll certainly be aware that your reminder if going off. The Cricket movement's alarm also goes off for like 15-20 seconds. It all depends on how fully wound the alarm barrel is. That is sort of the down side - each time the alarm goes off, you need to wind it up again.This new version

Daytona 116500 alternative.
Hey everyone, I have been on the hunt looking for the Ceramic Daytona and like many others getting one soon (at msrp) is tough. So I have been looking at other chronograph watches and have really fallen for the Audemars Piguet 41mm SS. Just got back from Vegas and tried the AP on and it is nice. Have not bought another high end watch except Rolex and would like some advise. I know many of you have multi brand collections. The price I was given was a good out the door with two extra links, 5 year warranty. I think msrp was around $24,600. That's a big price for SS watch! Would you guys do boutique or trusted seller? Hi guys,Need help authenticating a Panerai 561. I've done some reading and managed to check of most of the items on the usual list but hope to have some of you panerai experts take a quick look. All numbers match from Paperwork to watch case and movement.Box has appropriate barcodes that matches serial.Purchased from reputable but non-watch seller. BaselWorld 2017 Steel GMT Master II "pepsi"
Just saw the new Rolex pieces for 2018. Probably the most talked about piece if the new steel GMT Master II pepsi bevel with the jubilee bracelet. My question is whether the watch is identical to the BLRO 18K white gold outside of material. In other words, would you be able to retrofit the new watch out with an oyster bracelet? Also, will this be as mysterious as the ceramic steel Daytona to obtain? I hear about these crazy waiting lists for the Daytona yet I see them all over instagram every day? Does every predict the new Steel GMT will be as elusive?Side note. The original root beer GMTs had a brown and gold bezel. Why the change to black and brown? Why not stay classic?
