Tell me about Omega SM GMT - 50th anniv 2234.50.00
Hi,Can you guys tell me something about this watch. I cannot find too much information about it online. It caught my eye as I was researching GMT watches among various brands. It seems like a cheaper alternative to the Rolex GMT II.1. Do you know when was the last time it was produced ?2. What would be a reasonable price for a excellent condition of this watch ?3. Any comment on the movement of this watch? I assume it's not the in-house one made by Omega but ETA, correct ?4. Could you post some pictures if you happen to have the watch ?5. Is the watch comfortable to wear ?Many thanks to everyone

Can anyone post a few links to reputable sellers of vintage Omegas. Thx.
Patek Officer's Watch 5053
I've never owned a Patek but really like the older 5053 version. Prices on eBay run around 22K (but I would never buy on ebay), and Tourneau in the D.C. area had one for $30K plus. Below is the model I want..europeanwatch/19050.htmlAny tips of buying one would be appreciated, as I have seen a lot of really good fakes out there (I had no idea this model was popular).I have seen the reissue of the Officer's Watch and don't care for it as much.I have small wrists so if fits fine.Welcome any info on my grail.
Service: RSC or AD with in house capability
I'm thinking of servicing my yachtmaster and perhaps others after 13 years of ownership. The AD, Benari in Exton, PA I recently landed an SD43 from has in house capabilities. I'd kinda prefer to use them as I feel my salesman Joel is quite knowledgeable and and great to deal with and feel like I can give detail direction plus i think it would be turned around quicker. My sense is that if I bring to NYC they will tend to do what they think needs to be done and decide on their own. Am I way off? This would be a trial run for my Kermit as it scares me to send it in and have them switch the bezel, all though it's in great shape, or something I didn't direct them to do like maybe polish it. My yatchmaster and Kermit are running great but feel it may be time for a preemptive general tune up. I guess I'm due but part of me also thinks why mess with it and the expense. I would like a polish and spa treatment on my YM though and hence my desire to send it in. So I'm looking for general thou
