SIHH 2015: IWC Portugieser Annual Calendar (Updated with Live Photos and Prices)
The new IWC Portugieser Annual Calendar, part of the brand’s “Year of the Portugieser” at SIHH 2015, is a timepiece that marks two IWC firsts: its in-house movement is equipped with an innovative annual calendar mechanism and also boasts a two-barrel, seven-day power reserve. In keeping with IWC tradition at SIHH, the brand has devoted the lion’s share of its development and marketing efforts on one of its collections; this year, the Portuguese family gets its time in the spotlight. Kicking off IWC’s latest Year of the Portugieser is this new annual calendar watch (Ref. 5035), containing the new IWC Caliber 52850.The dial of the IWC Portugieser Annual Calendar displays the month, date, and day, in that order, in three semi-circular windows at 12 o’clock. This “American-style” date indication, which uses three individual disks, is an homage to IWC’s American-born founder, Florentine Ariosto Jones. The watch’s seven-day (168-hour
Withings Activit Fitness Tracker Device Disguised As An Elegant Timepiece
When it comes to devices to track your activity throughout the day, you've got quite a few different options. Some of these slip into a pocket (which is what I've gone with), and others go on to your wrist, much like a bracelet or, for those with a display, like a watch. Until now, however, none of these wrist-mounted fitness-focused devices have actually looked much like a watch. That changes with the Withings Activit Fitness Tracker watch. If you didn't know any better, you'd take a look at the Withings Activit Fitness Tracker, and think it was just another slender and simple watch, albeit one that looks to have one of the largest sub-seconds dial you've ever seen. In reality, that subdial is where you read out how you're doing against your particular fitness goal. Through the accelerometer built in to the watch, you'll have your steps tracked (walking or running), which then also leads to it calculating distance and calories burned. After taking the first glance at?the piece it?shou
WTB: Extra links for large SMP 300M needed!
Hello Omega friends, does anyone have extra links for a Seamaster Pro 300M large version? I may need one or two more links and I'm not sure where to look. The current end links have the number 825 and the clasp has the numbers 1503/825. Please let me know where to look or if you have any to sell. Thanks!
I apologize to all Orange bezel PO owners...
I've never really seen the appeal of the orange bezel, I have seen it in the stores a dozen times, but never thought that the orange could really work..Well, my theory of having to see a watch in the wild before judging it continues to hold true... Was at the mall yesterday with my wife, and spotted an absolutely stunning PO with orange bezel...I have to admit - it looked amazing - the orange seemed so much more subtle when there was a real world behind it to give it some context...So I offer my humble apology to anyone who has gone Orange....cleary you guys have made a great decision!would love to see some more in the wild pics...
GMT 16710 purchase decision. Can you help me?
Sorry if this has been addressed already, couldn't find a thread in the search box. I have the opportunity to buy a 16710 (mid 90s) for 7k, watch only with a local jewelers appraisal. Not sure what to do, seems a bit high and also wondering, with all the speculation surrounding a possible unveiling at Baselworld of a new GMT 'coke' next week, if indeed a SS coke is presented, do you think it will affect the prices of these 5 digits 16710? Am I paying too much for this watch? Have not seen the watch in person but it's on oyster and I am pretty sure it has been polished in the past although from the pictures the seller sent me, it does not look overly done. Any insight would be greatly appreciated
