Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Magnate GMT Watch
As much as I love GMT complications, I have to say that the name for this one is just silly. "Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Magnate GMT." Four proper names plus GMT suffix? That said, the watch itself is pretty nice looking. I'm not fond of the Rolex-style cyclops over the date, though some quite like them [Ed. note. You'll see some hands-on images I took with watch here. I believe that the magnifier crystal is actually reverse mounted (inside the crystal) so as not to stick out of the crystal]. The fixed bezel is less useful than a rotating one, but on the other hand it's filled with luminescent paint for a cool look in the dark. The textured and detailed dial has good balance and attains the not-too-busy look a good dress watch. The dark green GMT hand lurks in the visual background, behind mirror-polished hour and minute hands and the signature second hand with Ball logo counterpoise. Overall a good looking watch, with the bulked-up look Ball produces. The bracelet is a variant on the cla
ROC time loss
Hi, I bought a pre owned AP ROC (25860) from an AD few months ago. I didn't receive any papers abt it's service history, so I assume it's not been serviced yet. The watch loses more time than I expected - ~22 seconds per day. Is it normal? The watch also stopped running once when I had been wearing it everyday.AD did provide some warranty at the time of purchase. If I send it back to them, do they service it themselves or do they send the watch to AP (which I would prefer)?

Some wrist-shots of my new PO
This is my second PO I've had in about a year. I first got the 45.5mm and while I love it, it just wasn't comfortable to me. The 42mm has completely changed my mind :)Rolex needs to start AR coating their crystals. It make such a difference.
Power Reserve on the P.4000 Movement
I wanted to check the power reserve of my newer PAM 572 watch, which features the P.4000 Automatic mechanical calibre, executed entirely by Panerai, 13 lignes, 3.95 mm thick, 31 jewels, Glucydur balance, 28,800 alternations/hour. KIF Parechoc anti-shock device. Power reserve 3 days, two barrels. 203 components. Off - centered oscillating weight.I wear the watch an average of 10 hours per day and I do not supplement the power reserve by winding the watch during the week. I rested the watch dial up and it continued to run accurately for 86 hours before it finally stopped.
