Pride of Italy
What do you guys think about the watch?Only rubber AP with a thickness I can appreciate (only 11mm).It's a 500 piece limited edition but see a few out there. Trying to find a trusted source with one but curious if anyone has an opinions about the reference.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
3rd year service/pressure test in Australia/Indonesia/Singapore/HK
Hey guys,Has anyone ever done their 3rd year service (to get the additinal year warranty??) in Australia or Indonesia or Singapore or HK?What's the process? Do we need to book a time in advance? How long does it take? Does it entail polishing? How much does it cost? Thanks in advance!
It's not new, it's not old, it's something in between
It's a Watchco SM300! Actually not Watchco proper, because I built it myself. I had a 565 calibre in a completely buggered Geneve; the movement was good, but the case and dial were beyond repair. So a quick order of parts and a trip to my watchmaker later, I have a shiny new SM300. Sure it is a franken, but I love it. It's gotten a lot of attention at work too (I work in the watch industry).
Servicing a Patek
How often do you or are you planning on servicing a Patek? There guideline state 3 to 5 years where Rolex recomends 5 to 7 years. Is there any reason there guidelines are for a more frequent service.Do you plan on using any different guidelines than what you do with your other brands in regards to servicing? Is there any difference in the frequency (not price) of servicing a less or more complicated piece?
ETA models being discontinued
Hi All,I was talking to the Panerai salesman in Harrods yesterday. He said all ETA model were being discontinued for the in house movement. So the models like the 111 would no longer by continued. All movements would how 8 days. Price increase was going to be 700. Can anyone else verify this?
