When F.P. Journe unveiled his Octa Sports line of watches back in 2011, we (the royal watch collecting "we") could simply not believe how light they were. After all, the F.P. Journe "lineSport" pieces, being the Octa Sport and the Centrigraphe (CTS), were made entirely of aluminum. Yes, aluminum! They were so light, they almost felt fake (seriously). They were not fake, they were just absurdly light, and absurdly cool. In fact, the very first aluminum CTS sold at Christie's for over $467,000. Yeah. That cool. But, all things must evolve, and today we have a look at the new line of sports pieces from Journe C the very same models, but instead of the incredibly lightweight aluminum, they are now in titanium. 2 OF 18 The switch from aluminum to titanium was indeed a structural move. My 5711 Has a Brother From a Different Mother
A few weeks ago I received a call my 5711 arrived. It was originally expected before the end of the year. Couldn't get to the AD until this past Saturday. It is the first time I've seen one in the flesh.
Patek for my budget
I'm relatively new to high end horology and I'm looking into getting a dressier watch. Something on a leather strap that isnt too big. I dont like the Calatrava because its a little too plain. I'm wondering if there is a model that I can look into that has a bit of flare to it that is within my budget, if something even exists. I'm looking to spend around $20,000. I like the nautilis but I'm hoping for something a bit less sporty and more dressy. Is there anything that you could recommend?

Heavily debating trading in my GMT for the 126710. If I sell now to a trusted seller I could get almost the full value of the new 126710 what would my fellow TRFers do?
