RO with rubber/aligator strap
I would like to know if AP provide rubber/aligator straps that fits the classic RO 39/41mm. I know that there is a 15400 gold version with a gorgeous aligator strap with gold clasp aswell.Anyone here use this combination? If yes would be nice to post some pics.
Rolex scene into the larger, more colourfol ..
so with the 116680 soon to be widely available, i am wondering if any of our gang is going to dedicate funds towards a Rolex instead of an AP?the usual, and correct mind you, answer is: AP over Rolexespecially when it comes to the RO, and their price range, or the Divers, versus the might Professional series Rollies (Daytona, YM ss/plat)some Gold (white or yellow) Rolex models are ROO money, and even then, if not for the gold, the ROO will almost always deliver more bang for the buck in all counts and not just on terms of finishingnow that we have confirmed all of this, i have now officially crossed out the 4101 Millenary (steel) .. why? because of the YM2 steel. yes, there is nothing to compare them by except their budgets. which is enough realistic reason for myself at least.but the fact of the matter is, and i was in denial but finally i am admitting it to myself, that i have canceled the 4101 because i want the 116680 Rolex Yacht-Master II SS/SS

question re: warranty
I purchased my first PAM (388) not too long ago (great transaction). It's a year old and has a year left of the warranty. After 3 weeks it stopped running (just stopped....) Despite winding, checking the positions etc it would not start again. I sent it to the Dallas repair facility (after speaking to them). The customer service was wonderful. But now I got the written estimate and they said they recommended a $260 maintenance service (but said the finding was that the movement accuracy was within specifications). I need to call them tomorrow for more clarification, but wouldn't it still be covered under warranty? And if the findings were that it's running within specs, why would it need a maintenance service after a year? I'll find out if they got it running again but I was curious what people's thoughts were about this. You can pm if you'd like. I did send the warranty booklet with the watch. hoping it was just an error. Thanks in advance for any information or thoughts (or advice).
Thoughts on Tudor BB Heritage Chrono?
Considering getting this. I know it's gotten a lot of hate but for some reason I love everything about it. It's a diver/ chrono in one but I would just call it a sports watch? Anyway, what your thoughts on the baytona ? I thought it looks like a birth child of the Daytona and Speedmaster. The price is great too.
