The price of a watch is such a loaded topic that it's sometimes difficult to make head or tails of. There are so many considerations, layers, factors, etc�� that go into that price tag. From the region it was manufactured in to marketing and PR to provenance to simply the positioning of the brand in the market, it all effects the cost in the end. We've all seen watches with prices that are too good to be true that largely get ignored by the watch world as well as watches that clearly cost too much, yet have devout followings. Universal Geneve (1940s chrono): bracelet recommendation?
Dear friends,I've just purchased a 1940s, rose gold and steel Universal Geneve uni-compax chronograph. It has rose gold lugs (17mm) and a salmon dial. I'm awaiting delivery.Could you please recommend a vintage bracelet that you think would be good for it? Seems to me that a black leather strap will be best, but I'd love to hear some recommendations for a vintage bracelet that I could search for.Thanks,David

SOH 42 on crocodile
Just got my new green crocodile strap for my SOH 42 as a change up for the Ocean Classic it came with. Breitling doesn't offer the SOH with croc but I like the look.

Speedmaster accuracy
I've had my Speedy for about a week now, and am thoroughly enjoying it. I do have one concern. It is runnning about +9 seconds fast per 24 hours. It is fully wound every 24 hours, and I've tried different overnight positions- dial up, down, crown up, down etc. I am used to my Rolexes being very accurate and I realize that the Omega is not COSC certified, but is +9 casue for concern?Thanks for the help.
