Should I send 5712 to HSWA under warranty?
My 5712 has consistently been running 4 seconds fast per day. I've had the time peace for over year and a half and it's coming up on warranty expiration. If it was your personal timepiece , would you all send it to HSWA to have it looked at before warranty expires? I know about Patek turnaround being quite long. Curious to get your thoughts an responses. Thanks
What would you do?!
Guys,So i have about 35k in cash that i feel like spending!I am currently on a few 5711 lists with deposits when one becomes available.I currently own Tag Carrera (work watch)116710 (Week night activity watch)5167a (weekend watch)1. Should i sell the 5167 and put that and cash towards an AC 5726?2. Hold on to current collection, acquire 5711 and rotate with 5167?3. Trade 5167 for 5711 and add a dress watch (Grand seiko or jlc offering)*cannot sell 116710* this new watch also cannot be soldDiscuss.Sent from my SM-T355Y using Tapatalk
Next Acquisition...
I just picked up a 171, which I think is a great modern styled Panerai. I am already browsing around for the next one. Trying to get a few opinions as to what would be a good choice. This next one I want should be a classier historical model. I'd like a manual wind movement, with the clean sandwich dial. Also I don't think I want any complications, not even a second hand this time. 44mm Luminor 1950 case. Thanks in advance!
About 372 (and 422)
How do you guys view the PAM372; is it collectable? A 'homage'? Worth the money (in comparison to other Panerais)? Other? And what is your comments to 372 vs 422? Which one is the better buy in your opinion?I tried both on at my AD. Sorry about the poor quality lf the pictures, but it is better than no pictures, I think. 372:422:
BLNR outdated 2018 Basel?
Hi everyone,I just received my first Rolex as a gift this Christmas. BLNR. I love it but curious if it will lose significant value if Baselworld produces a new gmt blnr with newer movement? Thanks
