Watches NEWS
I found my pot of gold...
at the end of a rainbow. I hope you've all found yours.
My new (and first) PP 5711
Well first of all, as several of you know I wasn't sure which PP to buy so I solicited opinions/suggestions from you all on this forum. After weighing all the different possibilities I decided to purchase a new 5711/01A as my first PP and honestly, I couldn't be happier. I decided to park my Daytona and use this one as my daily watch. My Daytona shows plenty of wear with scratches and such but I purchase watches to wear so I expect this one to be no different. Once again THANKS to all for helping me over the hump on making a decision. Here are some pics.
Panerai prices in Norway
Hi guysI'm off to Norway and was just wondering what the prices were like out there. Im guessing more than the UK...?!Does anyone have any recommendations for ADs in Bergen or Oslo and whether any discount is possible? Thanks
Rolex is just lazy..
and they don't give a rat's about their customers.Bear with me.A few new Datejusts. Ok cool..A new movement put into basically the same watch with a crown at the 6 to differentiate. A new blue dial on a pre-existing white gold GMT. A white and a black OP 39. Oh, but wait they improved the lume. A horrific new Daytona.. and finally take some pre-existing blue and red ( ok really kinda purple and kinda red ) ceramic bezels they had laying around and put them on a SS GMT. But we will give it a jubilee bracelet to make everyone swoon. They couldn't even make this a Coke instead? Lazy. Rolex you have outdone yourself in ness. Makes me long for the awfulness of what was the Ceramic Yachtmaster II release. Rolex is just lazy. Resting on their laurels. away.
Older Rolex Lug Production Consistency
Is it true that for vintage or older Rolexes the factory production of the lugs were not consistent? Some lugs were thinner and some lugs were thicker coming out of the factory. Due to the different skills of the artisan of watchmaker in the factory.
