Counterfeit Planet Ocean Bracelet - How do you know?
Hello all,Had a question for the Planet Ocean guru's. Have a 2900.50.37 Planet Ocean and wanted to get a 1579/951 bracelet for it. Found a seller who had a like new version on Amazon. However, when it arrived thought something seemed odd. Engravings were not very deep on the clasp or on the bracelet itself. Some edges of the bracelet were even rough on the skin. Yes it's virtually new but it just didn't feel right. Are the new bracelets that rough? Are there any giveaways as to what I can do to be sure that it's gen? I have filed a claim with Amazon to rectify it and am covered, but seller is insistent that it's gen. He's provided no proof of course. Thanks!
Anyone own both an AP Jumbo (15202) and Nautilus (5711)??
Hey guys,On my way to diversify my collection, I love both these time pieces equally.I cannot buy one over the other; Even if I have to take the time before the purchase of the next, I cannot replace one with the other, nor settle for just one.Does this sound crazy?Though they share some similar looks, they are definitely completely different in my eyes.Do you agree?Has anybody got both of these pieces? Did anybody trade one for the other, and why? Also. Both in blue dial for sure.

I was somewhat on a budget and one of the less ostentatious models caught my eye. The watch was a stainless/gold with stainless/gold jubilee band with gold crown on the clasp. It had a fluted bezel and a white face with painted black Roman numerals, and as I recall, black hands. Based on when I bought it I think it was a 16013. I came to love that watch. It was simple and elegant. (Apparently Rolex never offered that dial/hand combo again, at least as far as I can tell. If I'm wrong, please tell me.)Unfortunately the watch disappeared between my jeweler and the Dallas service center in the mid-80s. I got an insurance replacement but that white dial/black roman combo was not available. I got a champagne dial with gold roman n
