Bear Grylls Sticks With Casio: Wears G-Shock In Current Man Vs. Wild Season
Pardon if you don't care for such things as pointing out what watches people in films and on TV are wearing. Some people are vividly obsessed with game of? "watch spotting." And when I dedicate to watching a show, I am pretty keen on spotting what timepieces people are wearing. Being a fan of survival shows (total guilty pleasure), I've noticed what Les Stroud wore in Survivorman, and what Bear Grylls has been wearing over the past several seasons of Man vs. Wild (on the Discovery Channel). As many fans of the watch know, Bear started with higher-end watches such as a Breitling Emergency and then a Bremont and started to get more reasonable with the watches he beats up. The last two watches he was wearing have been Casios. These of course make great choices given their operation and value (not to mention durability), but I have a feeling Casio is helping him out by providing suitable watches for his tasks. Help Identifying Royal Oak
Hi All - If there is anyone that can help me identify this Royal Oak which was just offered to me. I cannot seem to find a serial number on the caseback in the attached pictures, nor can I find a similar caseback on any RO. I also find it interesting that the clasp is stainless while the rest of the watch and bracelet are gold, although I have seen this before. Thank you in advance for your help!All the best,Adam

Panerai steel alloy
Hey guys,I was wondering about the steel alloy that Panerai uses for their cases. I found that it is easier to scratch and different to polish than 316l from brands like Omega and Breitling, I have to adjust the polishing machine RPM in order to get the right finish.904l (Rolex) gives me the best results though.

5 month old gray market Pam 90 not keeping time
I bought a brand new Pam 90 BNIB from a trusted brick and mortar jeweler on August 31st of 2016. I recently downloaded an App called toolwatch and checked the timing of my 2002 Y serial (probably never serviced) Two tone Bluesy Submariner, New Breitling Super Avenger 2 and my Pam 90. The other two are within COSC specs but the Panerai seems to be off by 50 seconds or so. Now Im wondering if Im not measuring properly because of the small seconds hand in the 9 o clock area of the watch (tried a few times and never within COSC specs). I have the unfilled warranty card and everything that came with the watch including the 3 boxes etc. Can I take it to the local Panerai Boutique and have them check to see if its running within specs?n
