HYT H2 Tradition: Futuristic Meets Retro
The “hydromechanical horologists” of indie watch brand HYT were among the first-time exhibitors at this year’s SIHH in Geneva. After making a splash at recent Baselworlds with pioneering timepieces like the H1, H2, and H3, the brand headed by watch-industry veteran Vincent Perriard wowed the SIHH crowd with the new H2 Tradition the first HYT to meld cutting-edge technology with horological classicism. The HYT H2 Tradition is the first HYT watch with such classical refinements as guilloch finishes, delicately lacquered dials, black Roman numerals for the hours, and blued Breguet-style hands, but it retains the now-familiar HYT hydro-mechanical aesthetic thanks to the capillary around the dial’s periphery, filled with blue fluid that moves forward with the passing of the hours. Source for Vintage Omega Watches
Hey Guys:Here is a link to the store listings on eBay for Beverly Hills Jewelery:stores.ebay/topgen/_i.htm..._pgn=1&_ipg=48They seem to always have a good number of vintage Omegas. Many are models that I never really looked at before. The only one that I did bid on, I got outbid at the buzzer. However, I did win a nice Seiko 5 Day/Date at a fair price and the service was great.Hope it helps if you're in the market.....
Panerai service question
I have a PAM164 since 2004. Need some opinion on service, should I get it done or not. I don't wear the watch too often, apparently no issues with the watch. I am not sure how accurate it is or if the power reserve has gone down. Was quoted close to $600, any parts replacement if need would be additional. Is it worth it or wait till it stops, also any recommendation in Bay area CA for service.Cheers
