Issued 1956 6B/159 3xxx/56 - interesting one this one as its an official RAF mod of an earlier 1943 watch - recased in a denisson case with new dial and lumed over hands. Usually worn by Lancaster Bomber navigators and the like 30T2 movement. So whereas it never left the Omega factory like this, it certainly must have some stories to tell:

Omega Speedmaster Professional anti-counterfeit logo?
Does anyone know what year/what serial number they started imprinting these anti-counterfeit logos for the Speedy Pro? I tried googling and searching on rolex forums and wus but found no luck. I know they started imprinting logos on Seamasters back in 2005 but no information can be found on the Speedy Pro. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well after a few calls to HQ in Bienne telling them my experience and asking if it was possible to get the display tag, it arrived today with a Casino Royale 007 brochure. Here is a picture for any of you who wish to see, just figured I would post it.

My favourite watch hands down is the 5980R, but my wife felt that the all gold braclet was too much of a statement and I rhink ahe is right. It also sat outside my budget ao I needes to get one 30% off which would prove very difficult given how new it was. She then made what I think is a good suggestion.By looking at the big price difference between the Chrono on leather strap (5980R) and the moon phase power reserve (5712R), then factoring in a good discount, maybe I should consider two watches. For example the 5712R and the ROO Rose Gold 25940 (older model with round push buttons). This way I have a nice watch to wear with a suit and another casual watch.So may I p

Rubber B straps for PAM?
Just received an email that teh Rubber B is now also available for Panerai ... Apart from the fact thatbthe best rubber is an OEM imho .... The price at $280 is quite steep ... I have a Rubber B for my Rolex but for Pam ... .Any comments?
