Bavarian Crono Offers Volkswagen Instrument Panel Homage Collection Of Watches (1946-1970s)
This will not be the first time that a watch face was designed after an automobile instrument panel, but this time there is no hiding the fact. In an obvious wave to the cultural icon that Volkswagen cars have been for so many over the years, Bavarian Crono ("Chrono" for us English minded folks) offers a line of watches that have very faithfully mimicked the look and feel of selected classic VW instrument panels. Currently there are 10 watches in the collection, but I suspect more will be added if this collection grows more popular (Bavarian Crono already has a few Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar themed watches).Bavarian Chrono started by taking a look at the exact instrument gauges in only VW Beetles. What will happen to prices on the 5980r?
What will happen to the second hand market for a 5980R RG? I bought one new about 6 months ago for a pretty good price.Are prices going to shoot up now or in the not so distant future? Alternatively, will prices drop? Opinions are much appreciated.If pricing goes my way I will likely upgrade and get the 5980/1R-001.

Took the Extended Warranty from Tournau for my Pam 104
Happy, piece of mind for $500 new straps, external damage, and servicing all make it worth it. Plus if I ever sell the Pam 104 the warranty is trarnsferrable.

Need advice...Daytona Ceramic waiting list
Hello folks,Need advice. I called around all the official Rolex dealers in my area and they all have crazy waiting lists. The Rolex boutique around here even stopped taking names down. Many out of town ADs won’t even deal with you if you are not local so I gave up on out of state ADs. I found one Rolex AD who said they had 5 people on the waiting list for the white Daytona Ceramic and that I would have to pay half down as a deposit to get on the list. They said they get about 1 every 4 months. They said msrp is $12,400 so I’m assuming that’s the price. These people have been in business for over 25 years. Would you do it?. Also, is it safe to pay the deposit over the phone?. Also, if Rolex increases the price, is the msrp locked in at the time I put the deposit?. How long do you think it’ll be until you can just get one without waiting?. Thanks!
