Speedy Pro for FOIS
Hi gentlemen. Looking for some advice. Considering trading my two year old Speedy Pro + $1k for a new First Omega In Space Speedmaster. Thoughts? I really like the < 40mm size, leaf hands, lack of crown guards and calf strap. I also like that it's different; I've never seen one in the wild. But is it watch sacrilege to give up a Speedy Pro and cash for it?Context: I have a small but thoughtful collection - Rolex GMT BLNR, Omega Speedy Pro (which I wear on a NATO), JLC Grande Reverso 1931.
5712 love
Well the title says it all, after having it for 3 months, having been 1 month on vacation without it, I realize every day how awesome this watch is, my personal opinion of course but I must say I really love it, love the complications of moon phase and power reserve, love the bracelet, the movement with mini rotor. As some of you might remember about 5-6 months ago I knew about Patek but didn't really know why they were so expensive, and many of you answered me saying the quality, finition of the pieces were made to perfection, and I am glad I started to have interest towards PP, because yes the pieces are amazing. There is a big chance that I will only have 1 Patek, maybe at the maximum 2, probably the 5167 one day, but if only 1 I am glad to have the 5712, Patek with a funky dial display and a great grey/blue dial.So thanks to those who opened my eyes to the Patek world, like Morpheus tells Neo in the Matrix: welcome to the real world, I guess when you come into Patek and a few other w
