Bell Ross watch is available in an impressive stainless steel case
Released on the occasion of this sportsman's 40th birthday, the new Bell Ross watch is available in an impressive stainless steel case. It is endowed with a massive winding crown, located at 3 o'clock. The crown is supported by two chronograph pushers, featured at 2 and 4 o'clock. On its top, the case is armed with a vaulted sapphire glass. The company's craftsmen have also equipped the timekeeper with a screw-type glass back. The model is built to be water-resistant up to 5 atm.
AP ROO Lava (LE of 99) - Thoughts, Opinions?
Looking for a new AP and was wondering if anyone here had any personal experience with the AP Lava LE of 99. I've attached a pic for reference for those who have no idea what I'm talking about. For a do it all AP, do you think it's a bit flashy or too over the top? I've tried to find pics online, but it's hard to get a glimpse of what the watch looks like in real life. I'm a serial flipper and wonder if I should hold out for something else. I currently have a 42mm 26170 but really want something ceramic with an open caseback (possibly the diver). My wrists are 6.25 and really don't think I could move up to the 44mm (26400) which I think is stunning - apart from the size. I have an opportunity to pick one up for a good price, and wanted the input of fellow enthusiasts. Any thoughts?
Omega Speedmaster: underwhelmed
I've been eyeing an omega speedmaster as a potential addition to the collection and was able to try on the mechanical 42mm and automatic 44mm versions this past weekend. Both on black leather omega straps. They wore quite well, despite the larger mm size (I wear a GMT 16710 and sub LVc), but honestly they didn't really do much for me. I was a bit disappointed, given the speedmaster's iconic status. Not sure what exactly was missing. Anyone else have that reaction to a speedmaster or omega? The search continues! Thanks.
Thoughts on the PAM661
I have an opportunity to purchase a new PAM661, a watch that I think is very striking. I've never owned a Panerai before (I own Rolex and Omega watches), so I was hoping to get some more educated opinions about the watch. Thanks in advance!
Daytona Wait List Experience
Afternoon, TRFI've been in the hunt for a new piece for a little while now and really have the hots for a steel ceramic Daytona. However, I'm not willing to pay the $4,000 to $6,000 premium for one on the gray or second hand market. What kind of time frame am I looking at by going through an AD? Also, when I ask to be placed on the wait list, how much deposit should I be expected to put down? Thanks for any help in advance!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
