Two New Panerai Watches Feature Linear Equation-of-Time Function
Panerai added a new complication to its lineup at SIHH 2015, and it did so in a very Panerai way: the brand’s first Equation of Time function debuts in both a new Radiomir 1940 and Luminor 1950 watch, represented on the dial by a linear scale. Scroll down to read more on the new watches, both of which boast an eight-day power reserve. The equation of time, a sophisticated astronomical complication that measures the difference between mean time and solar time (and explained in more detail here), is the signature function of Panerai’s new P.2002/E caliber, a manual-winding movement based on Caliber P.2002, the brand’s first in-house movement that debuted in 2005. The movement, with a diameter of 13 3/4 lignes, stores a power reserve of eight days in its three spring barrels.Caliber P.2002/E powers both new Panerai watches, the Panerai Radiomir 1940 Equation of Time 8 Days Acciaio (PAM00516), with a 48-mm case, and the Panerai Luminor 1950 Equation of Time 8 Days Acciaio
Finally found "The One"
The Royal Oak has always been a grail of mine and I've always been drawn to the 15300, I love the way the 39mm fits as opposed to the bigger 15400. I started searching around last year but just couldn't find the right one, then the other day I found it and had to pull to the trigger. I couldn't be happier right now, I love the fit and feel and the finishing on AP's is amazing!
Service / Polish a 15400 - experience and opinions?
Hi,My 15400 is at Clearwater to get its 3rd year warranty applied. It has picked up a few marks over the the last few years, nothing serious though. They quoted $210 to polish the case. Has anyone done this and how are the results?
15300...Fighting for Independence!
A little fun at the Alamo today!
which rolex for my first and probably only
I have been looking at a few watches from a couple of different stores one of which only had used and the other had new. the first one i tried on was a DJ 41 model 126334 with the white gold fluted bezel and diamond hour marks with the rhodium dial and jubilee bracelet. the one store gave me a book for the 2017 - 2018 season and looking through the entire book these are the ones i also liked and of course different price ranges. I am not wanting to pay more than 11K for a NIB. I will have to save my money since i don't have these kinds of funds currently. I will wear what ever watch i get for special occasions and everyday wear. Here are the ones i also like #1 Mentioned above#2 DJ 41 same as above but w/o diamonds#3 DJ 41 model 126300 #4 Sub Mariner 40MM model 116610LN #5 GMT Master 11 40MM model# 116710 BLNR like the looks of the black / blue bezel but really love the black / red bezel just not sure if i can get that bezel without going with the 116719 BLRO model and since that wat
