Review: Christopher Ward C9 Harrison Jumping Hour
After spending a few weeks with the Christopher Ward C9 Harrison Jumping Hour watch, I can safely say that I am smitten. Yes, smitten. As a watch lover I can't help but be seduced by those epic watches that cost from $6 C 600 thousand dollars, but as a normal dude, I never expect to own one. The watches I am talking about are those with really unique little mechanical gizmos under their skin that are doing fascinating little tasks, whether it is tracking the moon or spinning on multiple axis, they are part of what makes watches so fascinating. So, when a watch like the C9 comes along, containing within it one of those unique mechanical complications, but is at an achievable price point, I get really excited. Sure, $1,585 is not cheap, but one could imagine how through saving and perhaps selling off watches one no longer wears, $1,585 is not that out of reach. Having been able to actually spend time with this watch, the answer is yes, the unique complication, as well as the overall high

Well it's plain to see AP is doing extremely well by the way their salesmen act. Extremely confident and couldn't care less about your interest or business because they really don't have anything to sell and as soon as they do it never makes it to the display case. Patek seems to be the same way. Very sad over all. Neither of these brands are anymore special then other top brands like VC, JLC or Breguet who also have boutiques there but they have stock and their people treat you well. So here is some advice for companies like JLC, VC, Breguet, Breitling and Omega. We all know your movements and quality are just as good as the others but if you want to be popular as AP, Patek and Rolex then get some of you line iced out and then get some rap stars wearing them. Demand will then skyrocket and pressure might be taken off the others. It would be nice to see the AP salesman have to earn his living by selling rather then order taking.
Incoming Hopefully Not Outgoing [Poll Included]
I am happy to announce I got my AP Diver today, complete with 2 straps that totally don't fit...LOL...Ok they almost fit on the tightest notch, and I wore today after taking a sauna to expand my wrists...haha. But I did order 2 new ones from AP, I am just trying to decide if the watch is too big for my 6.3-6.4 inch wrists.Lugs are right at the brink of hanging over, but not as bad as AP 44 Novelty I briefly tried last year. Comfort is better as well.I love love love the design, and my only concern is size.It is also very comfortable even with a fairly loose fit.I think I might be able to pull it off with the smaller straps. What do you guys think? Does It Fit?Ok here are pictures of incoming HOPEFULLY not outgoing Out in the Sun Getting Orange to Match My Watchdiver1.jpgOh That Beautiful Brushed Ceramic Bezel... Thoughts on 25770ST
So... I could trade my 114060 (6 month old) + $3800 towards a just serviced (by a proper AP dealer costing almost $3000) and polished 25770ST that has a new croc strap, no box or papers though. Should I go for it, thoughts?
Rubber B for Rolex
Hey guys! I have been trying to switch my bracelet out for something new for quite some time and am really into these rubber straps by Rubber B. I have both an Explorer II and a BB tudor. If anyone has one out there, I would love to see it on your watch! Opinions and suggestions are welcomed as well.
