First Look At Rocker Dan Spitz's Jeanrichard Aeroscope Limited Edition Watch
Toward the end of 2014, Jeanrichard will announce a limited edition watch produced in collaboration with rock-and-roller Dan Spitz. On his Facebook page today, Spitz previewed the prototype of the upcoming model that will be based on the Jeanrichard Aeroscope timepiece. Dan was wearing it on his wrist presumably at the pool in his Florida home. We know that Dan has been looking to partner with a watch brand for quite sometime. What makes Spitz a bit different from your average watch-loving musician is that he himself is a watchmaker. Now, 51-year-old Dan Spitz took a break from music in 1995, after leaving the band Anthrax to become a watchmaker. He attended the prestigious WOSTEP watchmaking school in Switzerland. Spitz eventually returned to music in the early 2000s, but remains a very special type of celebrity watch lover because of his watchmaker training. How many Divers have been made?
I know this is a difficult question as it is not a Ltd. edition piece...but does anyone have any idea how many have been produced?Sorry if it is a sill question!

Which one to get: 5164 vs. 5712
So I had my mind made up on the 5164, and then I stumbled across the 5712 at my dealer today. Oh boy...now I'm confused on which to get. I recognize they are completely different watches/functions, but would be interested in hearing thoughts from the group. As a reference point, I currently own a BLNR and SS Daytona.Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Leather Straps - OEM or not?
I am thinking about getting a few alternative strap combinations for my 5235G - will be in Paris shortly so was considering checking out the following three strap makers in person:-.camillefournet/en/eshop/leather-straps.abp-paris.jean-rousseauI am looking to get either a grey or a matte finish blue (a slightly lighter shade than the one that the watch ships with) and / or a special tanned leather in blue (similar to the tanning treatment on Berluti shoes - .berluti/en/heritage-b...n#.VUP7REtmhg0Has anyone had any dealings with any of these three makers - would be good to get views on quality, customer service and value for money.Do Patek themselves offer a number of options for replacement straps - i.e colours that none of the their watches ship with (e.g. grey, green, light blue etc)?
