Glashtte Original Sixties Panorama Date
This year Glashtte Original introduces a new take on its classic and award-winning Sixties Panorama Date, presenting it in rose gold with a matte black dial. The highly-stylized Arabic numerals take you back to an era when design was king, then the oversize Panorama Date tells you this piece is both modern and original. Find wallpaper and pricing inside. The rose gold case measures a modern 42mm in diameter, and the overall thickness is 12.4mm. The crystal is anti-reflective sapphire. The automatic caliber 39-47 measures 30.95 x 5.9mm and runs in 39 jewels at 28,800 vph for about 40 hours before requiring a recharge. This Sixties Panorama Date has a European MSRP of 13,600 euros. It's a trend today - another first time Omega owner
But, I've violated my own doctrine. I have always stated that I would never acquire a new watch without seeing it in the flesh first. There have simply been too many occasions of seeing a wrist shot of a timepiece on a forum only to be disappointed when I finally saw it in the flesh. There simply wasn't that emotional connection. When Omega presented its 1957 Trilogy 60th Anniversary collection during Baselworld 2017, I was immediately blown away. I could not believe that Omega didn't try to modernize these pieces as its peers would have done. Granted, since I have scrawny wrists, I may be biased! These re-editions had me at a virtual hello. I couldn't sleep that night. Despite my best efforts, I could not get these images out of my mind. Every time I would try to convince myself it was time to pull the trigger, the questions would come in rapid fire: What about my sworn doctrine? Is seeing truly believing? Are these images perhaps a little too promotional with lighting tricks? How w
I kinda like my Speedy without a bezel.
Interesting, isn't?

Lady's rose gold
Hi, my wife was in Singapore for a conference and wandered into an AD there (I know it's bad news...)The sales person showed her a lady's rose gold watch (she can't remember if there is a date or day date) with a single diamond at 6 o'clock and no other diamonds anywhere in the dial. The price tag was approx S$120k approx USD90k or so.I won't be able to afford it, but I'm interested to know the model. Does anyone know which model it could be? I searched Rolex website and there is no watch with diamond only at 6 o'clock.TIA.
