Vintage Omega shopping
Hello all,I was out and about today and ran across a little vintage watch shop with a great selection of Omegas.I really like the Seamaster Chronograph and the Chronostop, which has an original Omega leather strap and deployant. I'm not sure of the actual value of either. They both need a good service/cleaning, but otherwise they are in great shape. They also had the Speedmaster 125! That thing is a beast! Any opinions on these? I apologize for the crappy cell phone pics....[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
Is this PO real?
Need help. Kind of new to this. Is this PO real? I snapped a photo as I met the seller today at the mall to check it out. Seems like a legit guy but aren't we all!Let me know know your thoughts. The bracelet clasp is broken and won't close. I honestly want a rubber strap anyway. Is the bracelet worth anything if I sell it? Is $1700 a good number to pay for this piece. How much is a rubber strap and where can I find an authentic one? Thanks,
I liked the 514 so much...
I went and got a 515Im virtually in love with an inanimate object
DayDate overhaul
This one needs a service methinks... Can't fix that stretch/worn bracelet, but we'll see how the polishing turns out. At least it can't get any worse
DJ Wimbledon Dial
Happy holidays TRF members,I have been searching for my first Rolex watch that I can wear daily. As a banker and a lawyer, I wanted a dressy yet a casual watch that I can wear without worrying too much about getting scratches. The DJ 41 TT (the Wimbledon ) was what I wanted and purchased it at a great price while I was on a family vacation in Taiwan last week. This watch is very comfortable and I am satisfied with the purchase. My previous daily watch was a Tag Heuer Indy 500 and I still love the watch. It is a tank!!!I am happy to finally joined the TRF club!
