I love PPs. They are stunning and gorgeous. I really have an itch one. i can afford a 5167a now, but have to save for the 5167r (it could be several years). Given my collection (SS Daytona, SS milgauss GV and breitling SuperOcean on a rubber strap), what should I do?? I won't trade any of my current watches to raise $$. Velcro Strap for my Pam 111.

Help me decide: Rolex Submariner Date or No Date
I'm getting closer to buying my first Rolex. I've loved the Submariners for years and will be getting a black stainless. At first the date has been of no consequence to me and I thought it might be a pain to make sure the date stays correct. But...then I started to think that it might be nice to have the date right there at a glance.What are your thoughts about the convenience of the date being there, and also I'd like to know about the collectibility of the date vs no date. Although the dates are $1,000 more retail, they don't seem to be that far apart on the secondary market. I plan to buy a used one in excellent condition, with the newer band and ceramic.
