Cyrus Klepcys Watch
Newer brand, new watch. Cyrus debuted late last year but I never got a chance to really check them out as their timepieces reminded me of wrist-mounted doomsday devices. Their flagship watch is Klepcys (still trying to properly pronounce that one) and it is a formidable piece of unique horology. The master behind the mechanism is Jean-Francois Mojon. One of today's better watch makers who is known for (among other things), the Harry Winston Opus X.In addition to the standard Klepcys watch, Cyrus will be donating a special one to the Only Watch 2011 auction. Images of both are seen here, whereas the piece unique model for the action is in white gold with a red "11." The high-end piece is another attempt on "doing it differently." While I respect the mechanism and concept for some reason the design leaves me a inert. I feel as though I need more time with the watch to appreciate it fully. HourTime Show Watch Podcast Episode 20
In episode 20 of HourTime we talk about some of the great Bell & Ross watches of Basel 2010 as well as what a "Chronometer" is. I don't think there have been any Bell & Ross Chronometers though. Still, you are gonna love the Vintage BR 123 and 126 models, as well as the BR03-92 Military Ceramic. We also talk about the Eterna Kontiki Diver that was suddenly brushed under the rug and became the Porsche Design P'6780 Diver watch.Listen to HourTime Show watch podcast episode 20 here.
How flippable are PP watches?
Just looking for some advice, I've been thinking about getting either a 5711 or 5712, instead of another Rolex. With SS Rolex, it's always easy to flip without losing too much money. With PP, is it easy to flip? From your experience, what would you expect to lose on a flip, 10% or more? I realise that it's like owning a Ferrari, there may be plenty of interest but to actually find a buyer with ready money is another matter. Any advice on PP ownership would be much appreciate :)
DIY Rolex Service

I went on the forums and people were saying that there may be dirt underneath. So I'm like, oh shit, I gotta get the bezel off without damaging anything and then put it back together again.Well using this handy guide .watchwallpapers/bezel.html it actually turned out to be very easy. I didn't have masking tape but post it notes did the trick. I even managed to avoid scratching the case and lined up the bezel correctly on the first try.tl;dr proud of myself for servicing my watch
My Milgauss broke, would it in covered under warranty?
Hello TRFers,Today when I got my Milgauss 116400GV out of the watch box, pull the crown out to wind the watch, I notice that there was a problem. The watch was not winding, it did not go to the first position when the watch is unscrewed instead it goes straight to the second position of hacking. I have 2 questions for you guys.1) Will this be covered under the Rolex warranty?2) How do you send a watch to Rolex? Can you do so by going to a AD?Any help would be appreciated
