Had the call...
Following on from my thread asking your thoughts on the blue 5711 a few weeks back, I put my name down. I was told that they would have an idea on allocation next February.Currently on a two week med cruise and last week I had a call to say that they had unexpectedly received one and it was mine if I wanted. Wouldn't hold it until my return so I had to bank transfer the funds. That was done and I'll pick it up next week. I'm guessing I only had to wait 6 weeks, so I've been quite lucky.Never had a Patek and not bought from that shop before, though they own a small chain of Rolex AD's and I'm a fairly good customer.
Left the 5167 club today.
Slightly different thread than the usual incomings. I traded away my 5167 for another watch (Rolex 116655). I really enjoyed the Aquanaut and would recommend it wholeheartedly as a daily driver, but ultimately I felt like 2 stainless steel Pateks with identical movements was redundant and decided to send it to a loving home.
Need help on Stap sizing
I wanted to order a strap from Panerai but not sure of their sizing. The rubber strap that came with my 1024 fits great. The straps that come with a new watch are they the standard size? I have a 7 1/2 inch wrist so I was going to order a standard size strap, should this fit me ?Thanks for any help.
My New PAM 448, PAM 449 Wrist shots!
Sorry for the poor quality shots as they were taken with my phone. I did my best though. Cheers guys!
