AP RO 15300 - Polished or is AP quality not so great?
Hello all,I have had my AP RO 15300ST for about 3 weeks now. Amazing watch!But there's one thing, and it's a big but, that grinds my gears.All 4 corners chamfers are extremely wide and does not match the bracelet at all. Far from matching. And there's very little material above the screw hole if you compare to below.It's an F serie from 2009.Here's pictures of my watch:This problem was found by another dear forum member over at a Swedish watch forum and he posted pictures of his old 15300 as reference (I hope he don't hate me for stealing his pictures):A random reference pictureAnother forum members' polished 15300. Which complicated Nautilus?
I'm on the market for my first Patek. Since I'm a jeans+t-shirt or shorts+t-shirt wearing guy, I'd like to stick to the steel Nautilus line on bracelet. I also believe I can't pull off anything dressy, so a gold watch on a leather strap is not my thing. I'm not a fan of the Aquanaut, and also would like to stay away from the 5712 due to its asymmetrical dial. And I also would prefer to stay away from the 5711 since I already have or plan to acquire too many '70s design non-complicated (2 or 3-hand) watches, namely Ingenieur, Royal Oak 15202ST, GO Seventies Panorama Date, and probably the new 3-hand Overseas as well. Also, IMHO Patek is in its strides when it comes to building unique and/or interesting complications. So my choices are the 5726, 5980 and 5990 -- right now. Apart from the obvious best and wisest idea of just wait for the 40th anniversary, since it may bring something even better for you, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the current choices. I do not know a whole lot about Panerai and have been doing some research on the brand. While doing my research, I see that at least the 184 and 242 have a JLC movement. What are the thoughts on the JLC movement? Will the limited number of timepieces with this movement, OPXIII I think, make them more collectible or more valuable?

I know this has been discussed in great detail here... but I am curious if anyone owns both the Day Date II & Day Date 40, and can provide some good comparison images or maybe even a side by side video. What Does Changing Accuracy Say About A Movement?
I wear my SubC about 10-14 hours each day, except a little less on weekends. It always rests dial up. I never have to wind it unless I haven't worn it for a couple days. It has been keeping time of about +1.6 seconds each day for the past 5.5 years since I purchased it new.I noticed about a month ago that it is now running about +1.1 seconds each day.Obviously, the accuracy is fine. But is there any significance to the fact that its been running consistently for 5.5 years and then it begins to run with a new consistency that's .5 seconds different from the previous normal? There were no drops, shocks, or other memorable trauma to the watch.
