Watches NEWS
2018 seems to be bright for AP!
The amount of watches they are dropping next year is mind boggling and the Royal Oak demand is stronger than ever. The fact that they are releasing so many models doesn't bother me since total production is still 40k anyways.Retro beast is a hitCamo 44 definitely has a market for itCeramic 42's are finally available The polarizing new anniversary Offshore has its sights dead on RMThat's not even mentioning the new 44mm RO's and and various other RO's (37mm frosted openworked )I've always been critical of the 250k AP's of the past, since many were ROO's with a tourb slapped on it throwing off the whole look. Not anymore. AP is letting it known that they want their old RM customers back, and customers of this level can afford to buy both. Only disappointment is RD2 availability. You can't show us something like that and say TBD.Let's just not talk about the new divers............
Omega deserves an A+ for customer service
I recently acquired an Omega Seamaster GMT. Anyway several weeks ago I wrote a letter to Omega Customer Service.Yesterday, I got a surprise in the mail.An A4 envelope all the way from Switzerland and it cost over 5 Euros, those Euros are expensive too Omega were kind enough to send me an original of the COSC testing results on an authentic COSC sealed certificate. The certificate was presented in a clear plastic sleeve and with a backing card, so it arrived in mint condition all the way to the bottom of Down Under It is a bit difficult to actually work out how good the results were in comparison to other movements, but they look pretty good to my untrained eyes.Anyway, it is an outstanding jesture of customer service for Omega to do this without charge. It does add a great compliment to the watch especially for the enthusiast.I'm sure that if another company put there mind to it, they could somehow also do this for their enthusiasts, particularly as the 'credit card' lacks the imprima
Is the 5170J old dial discontinued?
