Stowa Antea KS Review
One cannot begin to review the Stowa Antea Kleine Sekunde without first taking a look at the Bauhaus school of design. Dating back to 1919, the Bauhaus movement began when Walter Gropius opened the physical Bauhaus school in Weimar, Germany. Replacing parts and question of originality with modern Rolex
So this is probably a stupid question, apologies in advance if this sounds a bit silly. Now with vintage watches, everyone talks about the originality and how a watch with replacement parts, even if period-correct, isnt as valuable as one with all original factory parts. That brings me to this question, granted that our current 'modern' watches will one day, in 50 years or so, become vintage pieces. Will replacing parts now, for example, damaged screws/bezel pearl with uneven luminescent paint, or even, replacing the dial, lead to them being less 'original', and hence decreases the value, in the years to come?
