Rumours of the 5167 being discontinued....
Seems like there are some rumours going around that the 5167 is going to be discontinued this year... Curious what everyone has heard, or thoughts on this? Will be interesting to see what happens to the 5167 value should this happen.I guess all will be revealed soon!

Accident or something normal?
I just read this article about Philippe Dufour, I knew his work is impeccable here is not the problem, the problem is that for comparison they have put pics of movements from high end brands, and the one from Patek is just shameful finishing wise, I understand that not all Patek movements are finished to perfection and that some easily rival Dufour's finishing when it comes down to 500K plus models, but even for the lesser expensive Pateks is it possible that some can be sold like this??? Do you think this is a bad finished movement that passed through QC or is this normal finishing for let's say movements of their least expensive pieces? In any case that's why I never wanted to look at any movements I have owned with a loupe as I would be quite disappointed if I had such a finished movement. Awful PASC Experience - just got my 237 Back
So, I sent my PAM 237 in to Richemont PASC for a diag/service/polish. It was the beginning of this month. I just received it back tonight and was so excited I open up the box and the cool case they send it back in. It looks so shiny and new and perfectly polished. I am excited I flip it over to the back, aww yeah polished good..... WTF... WTF IS THAT. :bang head:Seriously? It looks like somehow they missed a huge portion of gasket sticking out of the case back? I mean, for real? What is my recourse here? Am I just expected to send it back in and take it on the chin? Should I complain to PASC?Should I demand a free watch for this incompetence (joke) but seriously?
