Introducing The Breitling Transocean 38, A Smaller, Less Complicated Addition To The Transocean Line
Breitling is expanding its Transocean line with the new Transocean 38, which keeps the understated size and looks while losing a complication or two in the process. The Transocean 38 retains much of the charm first captured in the original 1950's models, adding modern touches with minimal flair. In a move we've seen before from Breitling, the new model will measure in at a scant 38 mm in diameter, and be ambiguously marketed at both male and female consumers. We've discussed this tactic before in our review of the Transocean Chronograph 38, and maintain that it shouldn't stand in the way of appreciating a great watch. 2 OF 3 The Transocean 38 becomes the least complicated watch in the line, keeping business simple with a small seconds hand at 6 o'clock, and a distinctive twin-aperture date window at 12 o'clock. Look for AD - NY
Hi all,I'm from Brazil and i'm relishing the chance that my family are going to US next month to buy my first fine watch. After some research, i found that buying on of these online(Amazon, jomashop) would private me of having the international warranty of an omega watch... For someone living outside US like me, its a very important thing.. So here are my questions:1- Where can i find a good AD to buy my watch in new york? Someone offering a good service with good discounts.2- Whats the difference between buying a omega online, on the stores cited above, or through an AD? The watch would be a Seamaster...Thanks everyone =)
My new Connie!
I have always wanted a high precision quartz watch and they don't come much higher than this ( most owners quote real world timing to be somewhere between +5/10 seconds a year and the lower figure being the norm!Thermocompensated and acknowledged to be one of the finest quartz movements ever made...And now it is mine!My AD gave me an offer I simply could not refuse and this watch is stunning in every way and shape, the finish is one of the finest I have seen in a watch, Omega have really pulled the stops out with this one, it is a shame ETA have now discontinued the movement. So here ladies and gentlemen is my Omega constellation double eagle perpetual calendar (what a mouthfull!)In one of the pictures it appears the second hand does not hit the marker, that is an optical illusion as it hits the marker with absolute precision!
Not another 233 on a Toshi storm grey strap
Just received my first strap for my 233. Cheers Rich for this one and thanks to traveller who made me realise the beauty of the 233. Lovely soft supple leather on this strap and it looks lovely. Am sure people already know but check out Toshi straps.
