TAG Heuer Drops Tiger Woods
Bloomberg is reporting that TAG Heuer ended its endorsement relationship with Tiger Woods when his contract expired last month. Woods’s agent Mark Steinberg confirmed in an e-mail to Bloomberg that the agreement has ended. TAG Heuer signed Woods in 2002. In November 2009, Woods was involved in a now infamous one-car accident. In the days following that accident, several women came forward claiming to have had affairs with Woods. On December 11, 2009, Woods announced he would take an indefinite leave from professional golf to focus on his marriage. On December 13, TAG Heuer issued a statement saying that its relationship with Woods was based on his golf game, not his social life.Woods has not won a tournament since 2009. On October 31, 2010, Woods lost his number one ranking to Lee Westwood. Woods’s golf winnings fell from $10.5 million in 2009 to $1.3 million in 2010. So far this year Woods has won $629,000.Woods finished 37th yesterday at the World Golf Championships Bridg
Orient Mako USA Review
When it comes to affordable automatic watches, few brands offer the same bang-for-your-buck value as Orient. Like Seiko's more affordable automatics, Orient watches are often touted by the collecting community as a great way to get your feet wet with automatics before spending a larger chunk of change on pricier mechanical timepieces. That said, Orient watches are great in their own right, and their MSRP (or rather, their street price) often belies the true value of these great timekeepers. Having owned a few myself when I first began collecting watches, I can attest to their quality (In fact, I still regret flipping the 60th anniversary hand-cranker Orient released a few years back). The Mako has been Orient's flagship dive watch for a long time now, and it's often a watch recommended alongside the iconic Seiko SKX007 diver. The watch's popularity is undeniable, and in the eleven years since it was first introduced Orient has released numerous color ways and even created two spinoff mo
Stunning Beauty ! 34mm Ladies Seamaster AT 231.25.34.20.55.004
Hello everybody, I'm new to this forum although I've ventured into mechanical watches a few years ago. Would like to share with you this Ladies Aqua Terra model since I've not seen it being posted elsewhere. It's an anniversary present for my lovely wife. We received it 3 weeks ago. IMO it is elegant and stunning but I leave it to you to decide with the photos. At 34mm it is perfectly sized for ladies, not too big or too small. Not that thick either. It has the 8520 Omega Co-Axial movement which is very stable and reliable (I've monitored it's performance and it gains about 2s daily without wearing on a fully wound crown and without any watch winder, while it gains less than 0.5s on days that my wife is wearing it). Could not have asked for more. The crown, bezel and the hands are YG. Transparent caseback with 150m waterproofness.By the way, I did not know that the watch also came with a card certifying the quality of the diamonds. It stated IF to VVS, which is an added bonus for a w

5712 ordered
Placed the order today, for the 5712 SS, should be here when I come back to Paris end of September, very excited Of course this means that I will need to flip a few pieces to keep a normal financial level, but I can sell them after getting the PP, so no hurry there.Decided I prefer to have few watches than many, especially some haven't gotten any wrist time for a few months. Will be selling 2 Panerai, 233 and 28, possibly also my 82 shadow case, very rare watch, as well as my Blancpain, they should arrive next week, which should leave me with my PP, Rolex Daytona 116515, sub C LN and BLNR.Am even thinking of selling my Daytona rose gold, I know it's a beautiful piece, but I rarely have the occasion to put it, Paris or Odessa are not the best places to be going around with a gold watch, in 1 year we are going to live in Thailand, even though the criminality is very low there they are very good at steeling gold chains or watchesIf I sell the Daytona would probably buy an Aquanaut SS rubb
