Incoming SMP from Davidsw my first Omega
Incoming I have my very first (of many I am sure) Omega. I talked to Davidsw last week and told him what I was looking for and he has come through! I am sure I will be posting plenty of photos of my new baby once I get it. Thanks to all of you guys on here who helped me decide which speedmaster I wanted and for providing sound advice! PP Clock
I was wondering if anyone has ever seen one of these PP clocks in person and if they have any opinion. They look nice and was thinking of trying to find one. I have been wanting a mechanical table clock and thought perhaps a Patek?
New member with old Patek
Hello all. I have what I think is a Calatrava. This was my Grandfathers watch which was a gift to him from my Grandmother in 1968. I was hoping that some of the folks here can tell me a little more about this watch. I want to have it restored because the crystal has a tendency to pop loose but not off. I'm not the type that will take the back off to look for serial numbers and the like, I just don't trust myself to do that to this watch. It runs like a champ. The picture of the back shows the reflection of the camera lens so that's why you see lettering. I'm not the best picture taker eitherOriginal receipt:The watch:
