Concord C1 MecaTech Chronograph
The Concord C1 MecaTech chronograph presents a study in multi-level dial complexity. Every square millimeter offers a line, a texture, a non-traditional display, or a new elevation. The two-tone black PVD and rose gold case measuring 44mm x 16.7mm creates the impression of bank-vault security. A matte-black grid in the center of the dial provides the base for the arrow pointers that rest above the turning disks of the 30 minute and 12 hour counters. The COSC-certified ETA Valgranges chronograph movement is visible through a sapphire crystal caseback. The movement features a black rotor and C?tes de Gen��ve decoration. The 25 jewel movement beats at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of 48 hours. Instead of lume...
Was out walking back from dinner tonight wondering how well I could see the lume on my 15300. Turned out I couldn't see the lume at all but the white/silver dial easily caught and reflected very low ambient light from just about any source. Who needs lume when the whole dial catches and reflects light?

Can you spot the small change to my FC?

Are there any actual problems with the chronograph using a piggyback chrono vs being integrated?For instance is there any proof that they require any more service than one which is integrated?

Incoming! My First patek! 5990
Well,A couple years ago I was beating around the bush on a patek nautilus 5980 steel. I was told Patek might be discontinuing that model and introducing a newer model, I didn't know if it was for sure or not but I decided to wait and take my time. Finally I had heard the discontinuation of the steel 5980 and the introduction of the new 5990 dual time launched in 2014. I am so happy I waited. I feel the 5990 has the best of both worlds. The watch features a date and a chronograph complication. In addition to the chronograph, it has a second time zone featured by the skeletonized hour hand, which can be hidden behind the luminescent hour hand when not in use in order to create a less cluttered look. The watch also has two day/night apertures for local time and home time. What a watch... From my research, it was said that several case modifications had to be made to fit this movement into the nautilus without changing the classic look of the model and to maintain a thin watch.The nautilus
