HYT H4 Alinghi Special Edition Watch
I've been waiting for this. The HYT H4 Alinghi Special Edition has introduced a significant dimension to HYT watches that was not there before: a second crown. But wait, I hear you cry, what on Earth can it be for? The HYT H4 Alinghi Special Edition is basically a clone of its predecessor, is it not? The movement architecture is practically identical to the H1! The calibre is skeletonized, but that's it: Where's the complication that requires a second crown?Well, in a funny kind of way, the crown is the complication. Hidden between 4 and 5 o'clock is a small generator, which is charged up by winding the crown. When depressed, the dial is bathed in a bright white light for a maximum of five seconds. The light source is two minuscule LEDs concealed by the 6 o'clock marker. This is an entirely mechanical process �C no battery. Nothing but good old gears and finger-twiddling. Bremont C17 Globemaster Watch
Here is a nice new piece from Bremont that you can't get. Bremont will produce these C17 Globemaster watches for a select group of "pre-selected" military personnel to get one - basically for one squadron as I understand it. The pieces will be highly limited as well. Each Bremont C17 Globemaster will be limited to just 50 pieces, and it comes in a few versions if I understand correctly.The watch is meant to honor the high-tech C17 cargo plane. I don't think there was ever a cooler looking cargo plane than the C17 Globemaster III. This is probably one of the most modern planes that a watch has been based on. Usually it is a historic plane that gets the "timepiece treatment." Bremont, a primarily aviator watch brand, is said to have worked closely with C17 pilots in developing the watch.Not sure about the size but I would guess in the 43mm wide range. I would have loved to be an automotive journalist in the early 1990s. One of the most momentous occasions of the decade was the release of the Lexus LS400, as well as the overall Lexus brand lowering into our lives like a gleaming vessel from mother-ship Toyota. Hi All,Simple proposition. Trade my DBlue + a little cash for an E serial 25721 aka 'The Beast'. I know this is not a widely seen model (even with the newly announced tribute version)I do have a newer 44 titanium (264001) and do love the versatility of the Dblue...but am thinking of switching things up a little.Opinions are welcome and appreciated !
